Exams again.....

Guo Wei is done with his shooting for a short movie film...
Justin is done with a competition by Y2J...
JJ is done with his another band Psalmist Generation in the MRSC competition(Congrats on winning the People's Favourite Award)
Jan is done with his Final Year Project...
and N is in the process of producing songs for some friends..

yeap...and apart from that..everyone is busy for their finals...
It's exam time folks....
The band would like to wish all exam candidates the best of luck..
anyway its the final sem for Jan, JJ and Guo Wei.....:)
they'll be graduating at the end of this year...

Champs!!

J4N has emerged champions of the Plug and Play competition held in UCSI South Wing Campus yesterday.
The band received RM1.8k, trophy, a hamper and also a 3 month contract with Little Tree (this is for Justin)...
:)
The money will be used for the band's purposes...with the inclusion of bassist Guo Wei and keyboardist Deborah and the new introduction of the latest band member, violinist and instrumentalist Shio Yee (that's 7 members wei!!!!)...J4N will continue to improve in everything that they possibly could...
We would like to congratulate and thank Vicky, Han, Guo Kang, Jack's band and many others for their involvement in the competition..
FUHH...good experience everyone....J4N trully enjoyed the moment..especially in the band room hohhoohho...cheers to everyone!!

P.S. J4N would like to apologize for the lack of pictures in the blogs...for the past few posts...tons of pictures including the new members and competition will be posted really soon..so do visit the blog often yeah!!!

It's semi time boy and girls...
this time..Justin would be performing with our soon to be keyboardist, Deborah.....
So its a duo performance this time...Jan and N would be at the sidelines for the moment(probably they applied for leave this time).
So..it's Little Tree Cafe tonight!!

Semi-finals....

Yes..the acoustic trio of the so called J2N has progressed to the next round..
its the semi-finals now!...
Held next Wednesday(19th) at 7pm in Little Tree Cafe...Justin would be on his own this time due to a requirement by the competition to sing either 1 of the 3 selected songs for the round by a draw on the same day itself..since its barely less than a week to practise..we opted for Justin to work with the in house guitarist...so its a holiday for Jan n N...hoohhoho....

Next Round!!

The Acoustic Trio of J2N(Justin, Jan and N) has advanced for the quarter finals of the Plug and Play Competition in Little Tree Cafe in Jalan Genting Klang, Setapak.
The round is scheduled to be next Thursday(13th)...
so do come and support us wei!!!!!!

its break time...paying attention to studies(J4N memang rajin)...
in the mean time...the band is in the midst of composing another original song...

Hmmmmm....panas.....so here J4N was in Hotsound Studios in Wangsa Maju....a very nice place to jam hmmmm...and so was Double Neck Studios(no gambar la..sorry) even though it was a bit old....but for comfort wise and also the deco...Hotsound Studios gets the band's pick..J4N kasi 4 bintang...:)..
Sorry for the picture quality...the light was kinda dim...hohoh and the band was using handphones to take pics....

J4N's MOST POWERFUL PERFORMANCE YET!!Even though the band did not win anything..collectively the band was very very happy with the performance..performing their latest original J4N was in an upbeat mood to keep the audience entertained..
The band would like to say thanks to Jason our super photographer, all our friends who voted and supported the band and also all the IVSC08 crew...its a great event!
